Happy Halloween! I have had a few busy weeks here in The Crafty Play Pen but I did find time to make a few birthday cards for family and friends.

This card is made using Stampin` Up! set Way to Goat stamp set, Very Vanilla card stock along with my own card that I had in my stash. The ink pads are Memento black, Stampin` Up! Cinnamon Cider, Granny Apple Green and Bumble Bee.

This card used Stampin` Up! Forever Fern stamp set with Cinnamon Cider, Granny Apple Green, Pretty Peacock and Bumble Bee ink pads. Very Vanilla card stock and card from my own stash. With a little bit of embossing on the label.

This card is made from my own card stock but partnered with Plaid Tidings and Love of Leaves from Stampin` Up! I also used the new, up and coming Quite Curvy stamp set which is released in November 2020.

If you are interested in buying any of the stamp sets I have mentioned or anything in the Annual and Mini catalogues, please get in touch and I can send you a catalog.

I have been making face coverings and other bits and bobs to accompany the masks. Spencer Ogg (pattern maker extraordinaire!) has patterns for a Sanitizer Pod which can fit a small 50 ml bottle of hand cleanser in, it is also useful for an inhaler, dog poop bags (but not at the same time). I have used her pattern for a Coin Purse but have slightly adjusted it to be able to fit your mask in or any other feminine products. The pod can be attached to the purse or to your bag/jeans by the lobster clip and is closed with a plastic cam snap as is the pouch.

The mask is made following a tutorial I found on YouTube for the Olsen style mask, I really like this pattern as it fits my face shape well.

I love the fabric as well as it appeals to my secret inner Goth! I have one set for sale in my Facebook shop (via the button on the bar at the top of the page)

My first post

 Hello to you!

This is my first Blog post and I would like to introduce you to the cards that I have made with the Coming Home Bundle from the Stampin' Up! mini catalogue. These cards where made during an online class given by another Stampi' Up! demonstrator,Lauren Hart, you can find her at www.Laurenhartandcraft.com and also on YouTube. Check out  her blog you will enjoy her videos and maybe you would like to join in her next Online Class. You don't have to leave your front room and you get to make beautiful cards with us!

Now onto the cards. This set is available from the Trimming The Town Suite in the August - December 2020 mini catalogue. If you would like to order this set then please contact me and I will be happy to oblige, or you could request a catalogue and I will post one out to you, that also goes for the Annual catalogue.

This card used a layering technique as well as inking around the edges of the night sky.

This card was so much fun to make. It used a taping and sponging technique and I got suitably messy doing it!

This is a bendy card...self explanatory really but took a bit of dexterity and the use of a craft knife, a skill which I have yet to master.

This card is just waiting for a sentiment to be added but I haven't decided who the recipient will be yet.
